California Proposition 65 Warning

⚠ WARNING: This product can expose you to chemicals including nickel, which is known to the State of California to cause cancer. For more information go to www.P65Warnings.ca.gov.

What is Proposition 65?

California's Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986 — better known as Proposition 65 — requires businesses to notify Californians about significant amounts of chemicals on the state's list, which currently includes more than 900 substances. A Prop 65 warning does not mean a product is unsafe or violates any product-safety standard; it means the product can expose you to a listed chemical above a very conservative threshold set by the state.

Why does this apply to Dripurr products?

The Dripurr™ fountain is made of 304 stainless steel, an alloy that contains nickel — a chemical on California's list. Stainless steel is the same material used in cookware, cutlery, and water bottles. We provide this notice to all customers so that Californians receive it as their state requires.
